This auction is for a specialty DC circuit breaker which can be used to protect your wind generator and battery system from transient power surges. This is a Type 1 single pole circuit breaker, which means it will recycle continuously during an overcurrent condition - useful during high wind spikes and/or heavy power draws. If your wind power system is critical to you having electricity, this will offer the best chance of keeping the power flowing, although I would still recommend using this in addition to a fail-safe AGU fuse (in case of a hard failure or short circuit).
The composite alloy material will deflect and separate the contacts when an over-current situation occurs and return to the run mode as it cools. The process will continues until the source of the overcurrent is removed or corrected.
This circuit breaker comes in a rugged metal casing with a horizontal mounting bracket, in addition nuts and washers are included for the 10-32 studs. Size is roughly 1.25 inches x 0.75 inch x 0.625 inch deep. Operating temperature is -10F to +150F.
