This item is Chinese traditional sumi-e painting water color. The different color pigments are made from plants and minerals, all natural materials, just the same way as how ancient Chinese artists made their pigments for sumi-e painting.
Please note there are two different colors of boxes - dark gray, and dark red. The color pigments inside are exactly the same. The color of the box will be chosen randomly when shipping.
How to Use
=========
Pick a few pieces of the pigment and put into a small dish / palette, then fill small amount of warm water and wait for a few minutes. The glue in the pigment will slowly resolve. You may use your a small stick or brush to gentle squeeze and stir the mixture to help on faster and even resolution.
Add more water into the resolved colorful liquid and it is ready for use. In general 1 gram of the pigment can mix and resolve with 5-10 grams of water.
Do not put too many piece into water at the beginning to avoid wasting. You can always resolve more pieces as needed
