    Description

Digital 100 Amp Solid State Charge Controller
with Divert Relay & LED Meter for Wind Hydro and Solar
includes long voltage probe leads with ring terminal ends.
The 100 amp Solid state charge controller with divert relay can be used with our divert loads (divert load sold separately). Pair this controller up with our selection of wound resistors or water heating elements to match your systems potential for maximum system longevity. No loud click clacking sticking relays vibrating the other components in your control board to a premature death.
With built in digital display and intelligent dual processor controller.
This 100 Amp Watt diversion controller
features an LED display the battery voltage
    .
Connect multiple turbines and solar panels up to 100 amps worth at the same time or add multiple SSR to increase capacity
Max continuous solar amperage in disconnect mode is 60 amps.
    Max solar amperage
in divert mode is 100 amps. This is a hybrid wind and solar charge controller.
Use for wind turbines or solar or both
    hybrid
Also use for hydroelectric or solar or both.
User changeable settings - several controllers on the market only let you set the dump level!
Long sense leads make for quick & easy connection
    Charge Controller Features:
Heavy aesthetically appealing black 16 awg aluminum backplate
    Grounded back plate
Wiring block with heavy 6 AWG makes wiring a breeze
Dual microprocessor controlled for stability and accuracy
Multiple user changeable settings and trip points for many various system requirements and applications.
You can change the dump point voltage level, end of dump voltage level, and length of time in divert mode when end
dump point voltage is reached (between 0 to 999 seconds, or 0 to 999 minutes)
Isolated Electronics Protection - Almost impossible to accidentally connect wind or solar directly to the circuit board
On board relay isolates electronics from back feed from 100 amp SSR relay.
    High amp rating
    -
Can be operated at 100% duty cycle conducting
    surge
    loads up to
    100 amps
Battery Status LED lets you know your battery's actual voltage!
Green LED on board lets you know the controller is in dump mode
    Plug & Play:
Long leads for easy termination to your 12 volt battery or battery bank
Can divert the charging source from the batteries to the load or dump both the batteries along with the charging source.
Connect both wind and solar at the same time
    Reverse polarity protection
    Ultra low power consumption
    , even with the voltmeter
The voltmeter can be set to turn off after periods of inactivity.

About load diversion:  We do not recommend using diversion load controller with high power systems. We do like the use of these controllers in specific applications and have as a result started offering them to the general public. We utilize these systems with consumers looking to divert power into grid ties, DC water heating air heater, live stock and other application specific load control applications. Contact us to determine design specific application appropriate diversion load sizing and if this product is a good match for you renewable energy system through ebay messages.
We wrote the book on these type of controller sourcing the parts for the initial variants many years ago. We did not move forward with bringing this product to market as a result of disdain for mechanical relays and the fact this diversion controller lacks bulk float and absorption algorithms. Please note that not all batteries require these algorithms but if you have lead acid and or sealed AGM and use this type of controller without properly sizing and programing it there is a high likelihood of damage to or shortening the life of these battery type. The fact is nonetheless sold in it's actual merits not over hyped it is a very capable load controller. This controller we use in many different application such as a static voltage skimmer for DC hot water or a divert to grid tie. We also use these as over run controllers as all diversion load controllers should have a backup in the event the primary fails as noted by morningstar in their product documentation
Let us explain why our 100 amp rated controller is far superior in every way
Let's face facts high amps and watt numbers are great for sellers and it is what causes you to put the item in your cart but wait a minute not so fast lets take a moment and think about what we are doing ! If you have a 10,000 watt solar system just stop and message us because designing it around a controller like this will be a one way ticket to failure. We can help you design your system with proper controllers such as MPPT with proper system stringing and efficiency.
Time to address the 440 amp diversion load controller supremacy fallacy in the diversion load controller market in the mainstream newbie DIY wind and solar market.
440 amps is a instantaneous or surge rate only! It is not the continuous duty which most sellers will tell you straight up in there ads is only 100 amps. Regardless in most systems assuming you could dump 440 amps this would be terrible for the batteries with such a drastic load. In fact in the instance with most beginners placing a 440 amp load on a battery such as for instance a couple 100 amp sealed AGM's would be nothing short of terrible for the battery. See us for proper load and wire sizing.
Secondary to this the solenoids, many of which were made for automotive usage and are a cheap part which does not belong in a renewable energy system. Our system utilizes a high quality SSR relay that utilities a large heat sink to dissipate heat.
The truth we all know about the mechanical solenoid is that they are loud and eventually fail. They create vibration in control boards causing other components to fail as well. They were designed to start a car a few times a day not open and close continuously regulating a  renewable energy systems. This is why we are offering a superior heavy duty solid state system with a massive cooling heat sink designed for years of heavy operations.
As the owner of a renewable energy company I can tell you as a system designer we do our share of failure analysis from other companies designs. We have a folder of pictures of batteries that are cracked open from over charge, and fires started by them or in the even the mechanical relay is closed the batteries are so deeply discharged they are ruined. The simple answer is use our heavy duty solid state digital controller with no mechanical parts.
