1950s MISS NANCY ANN Doll 10" sleepy eye high heel + CLOTHES & More

Description

This 1950s Nancy Ann doll with her pearl earrings high heeled shoes and glamorous look was the precursor of Barbie.She is in very good condition, as are her clothes, after having been played with by 3 generations of girls.  Her blonde hair looks like she just left the beauty salon.  Light blue eyes.  Her sleepy eyes stick a bit but they work.  Bottom lipstick is a bit worn.  Her body is excellent. There is a slight blue smudge at the right side of her waist where the top and bottom of her torso meet. Swivel waist. One earring has lost its luster.  Nail polish intact. Feet made for high heels.  Straight legs. In short, she's amazing for being over 60 years old.She comes with clothing that is labeled and some my professional seamstress grandmother made:- navy dress w/ white collar; navy dress w/ mink stole (Yes, it's really mink from something of my grandmothers that she was having altered); brown & white polka dot skirt and white blouse; two white blouses; pink jumpsuit (worst condition of all clothing -- it was a favorite and shows it); green & white stripe dress; pink baby doll pajamas; plaid wool robe; tweed coat; black & white dressy dress (matching underwear).  There are also 2 pair nylons, some under garments,1 pair high heels, glasses, and a Samsonite suitcase.  Some clothing needs a bit of mending (snaps, hooks & eyes, where seams meet).  No rips, tears or holes.  A delicate laundering will make them look like new.An auction lot like this in such good condition is a rarity!
